OneSight Indigenous Design Competition
Posted: February 5th, 2014
OneSight are seeking an aspiring Indigenous artist to create a piece of art which symbolises their culture and the importance of vision to their community.
OneSight is a not-for profit organisation working globally to provide free eye-screenings, free glasses where needed and eye-health education to disadvantaged and remote communities.
The winning piece of artwork will be used to create limited edition Ray Ban Wayfarers frames with the artist with artists name printed on the inside arm of the frame and the artists story being recognised inside the packing. The artist will also receive a licence fee for each pair produced and $10 000 to be put towards the professional development of their choice. Fifty dollars from the sale of each pair will be donated to OneSight programs in rural and regional Indigenous communities across Australia.
Applications close February 28, for more information or to enter click here.
