Inquiry into the destruction of 46,000 Year Old Caves at the Juukan Gorge in the Pilbara
YMAC’s opening statement to the Committee Hearing for the Inquiry on 13 October 2020, contained a proposed Roadmap to Reform, detailing what must happen to address the existing power imbalance and inequity across state and federal legislation.
In October 2021, YMAC welcomed the final report for this inquiry, handed down by the Joint Standing Committee on Northern Australia.
