The 2026 On Country Bush Meeting at the Yule River Meeting Place was held on Kariyarra Country on Wednesday, 29 and Thursday, 30 July. More than 500 people attended the meeting to progress the 2024 Call to Action and Solutions Roadmap and 2025 Community Priorities.
Yule River is a unique and important event that allows Pilbara Aboriginal people to set the agenda, drive conversations and highlight the needs and challenges facing their community.
The meeting brought together stallholders, government Ministers, and representatives, alongside Pilbara Aboriginal community members, creating a meaningful opportunity for connection, discussion, and collaboration.
