Glenis joined the Yamatji Regional Committee on 30 November 2019. She is pleased to be on the committee to represent the Wilunyu Amangu people and to share with them updates on native title in the region.

Glenis resides in Geraldton, enjoys softball and music and is grandmother to 18 grandchildren. She is the director and founder of Mid West Yamatji Music and sits on the Board of Bundiyarra. She has worked with the claim groups for 20 plus years and has been part of the working group, so has a good understanding of native title.

Glenis’ aspirations for the future are to see a positive outcome of native title for her people. For Glenys, “Country means everything, it comes from within. Country is a part of me, I am a part of Country.”
