YMAC is currently seeking two full time (75 hours per fortnight) Communications Coordinators to join the team in our Perth office on a fixed term 12-month contract. The primary aim of this role is to promote YMAC both internally and externally through the implementation of sound communications strategies, promotional activity, advocacy, event coordination, and effective media management and liaison. .
In this role you will be empowered to work autonomously, undertaking a variety of projects, with your problem-solving skills being respected and encouraged.
About You:
You will have the ability to design, produce and project manage internal and external communication publications and compliance deliverables, with a sound understanding of how internal and external strategies can be implemented efficiently and effectively. You will be able to demonstrate at least four (4) years’ experience in a communications, stakeholder engagement or equivalent role, with relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, journalism or similar.
Working in a team of fellow self-starters, you will embrace the opportunity to take ownership of your work and will have the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

National Police Clearance & COVID-19 Vaccination
A current National Police Clearance is required prior to commencement of employment with YMAC.
A COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for WA Workforces issued by the WA State Government, with YMAC falling under Group 1 of this Policy.
