Attend the launch of a new Human Induced Regeneration (HIR) carbon farming guide

Aboriginal pastoral lessees and Registered Native Title Bodies Corporate (RNTBCs) are invited to attend the launch of ‘Setting up for success – Human induced regeneration (HIR) carbon farming guide’.
Developed by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), the guide provides an overview of the opportunities and risks presented by HIR carbon farming for Aboriginal stakeholders.
Human induced regeneration (HIR) present financial, social, and environmental opportunities for –
- Aboriginal pastoral lessees; and
- RNTBCs with determined native title claims on pastoral leases.
The guide will be launched at information sessions in the Southern Rangelands where participants will be provided with independent information to support good decision-making.
